Another popular article right now from the NYTimes is about how government is giving massive tax breaks to feed the huge boom in data centers... data centers that will be one day converted to kill humans either as part of these slaughterbots or as hostile or even a neutral full general AI. We are all far closer to this future than we think.

Maybe Ted K was right? His solution was obviously a total failure though. Any idea how we can stop the rapidly approaching suicidal extinction of humanity?
